Off Road Racing Thrill Ride

Vin Diesel is back in the fourth installment of the series and this is by far the best of the lot. The muscle cars are way cool, the chicks are still scantily clad and action scenes are fantastic! The opening is one of the most riveting and adventurous I’ve seen in a long time; featuring a gasoline truck dueling with three cars. Backwards driving, human car to truck hopping, near crashes all play out on a narrow mountain road in the Dominican Republic. The cinematography is fantastic! ‘Beach looking police guy’ Paul Walker is back and reunites with Diesel to bring down a drug cartel in Mexico. The street racing scenes are intermixed with video game sequences which are sure to please gamers. The film provides a refreshing side step from snarky comedies and the violent slasher films that appeal to the same sort of audiences. The script is thinner than the first, but the stars in this one are the muscle cars as they do all their talking with their shinny bright exteriors, sleek stick shifters and the rocketing nitro blasts. If you’re looking for a thrill ride catch this one.
