Sarah’s movie viewing (over 4 decades) covers a lifetime passion that began at age 10 living in sunny Los Angeles, California, at which time she and her mother also started watching the Academy Awards. Founder and publisher of Sarah’s Backstage Pass, Sarah enjoys bringing you the latest in film news. She’s conducted Q&A sessions for major Hollywood film screenings with the lead actors present, interviewed celebrities and covered Red Carpet Premieres & Awards Shows in Chicago and LA. She can be heard weekly on the Radio Show ‘Hollywood 360’ on WIND am 560 where she reviews the latest film openings. She's served as a film judge in Chicago's Windie City Shootout Film Festival in which $28,000 in cash prizes were awarded. Fascination with the film industry led to background acting in major Hollywood films. Sarah’s worked with main stars such as Matt Damon, Dennis Quaid, Patrick Swayze, Tim Robbins and Rachel McAdams. Working in film has broadened her perspective of film production. Her lengthy career (20 yrs.) as a classroom teacher of gifted literature, is a perfect match in critiquing children and family films. Sarah’s Master’s Degree is in Reading from Northern Illinois University. A freelance writer both online and in print her career has covered film reviews, restaurant and food reviews, celebrity interviews, business profiles and charity events. Sarah’s a proud member of The Chicago Film Critics Association, an honor that she takes very seriously. She attends weekly film screenings in Chicago. While in attendance, Jessica got her start as Entertainment and Fashion anchor at Indiana University’s Student Television (IUSTV) where she covered stories ranging from the latest fashions, beauty trends and current celebrity news. Her editorial work in San Diego News Network in 2009 contributed to her journalistic foundation. Since joining the Sarah’s Backstage Pass staff in 2008, Jessica has interviewed celebrities from major Hollywood films and reviewed the latest movies live on Chicago’s 3rd largest radio station, WIND560AM’s entertainment segment, Hollywood 360. Her longtime interest in the entertainment industry inspired Jessica’s background acting in major Hollywood films such as the 2010 remake of, “A Nightmare on Elm Street.” After years of watching Giuliana Rancic, anchor and managing editor of E! News, report on the latest entertainment news, Jessica would like to follow in Giuliana’s footsteps. An avid traveler all her life, this Midwestern girl spent a semester abroad in London, England and explored continental Europe. In contrast, during the summer of 2009, she covered the Hollywood scene in Los Angeles. Whether it be radio or television, Jessica anticipates that her diverse experiences will contribute to her talents in her quest to become an esteemed entertainment journalist. She attends film screenings and occasionally ‘pinch hits’ for Sarah Adamson on Hollywood 360 (WIND 560AM Radio). She also conducts interviews for the website and is truly interested in promoting ‘new’ talent. After receiving her Bachelors of Science degree from Illinois State University, Tyna’s time was spent raising her two sons and following her passion of film and writing. She completed a course with Long Ridge Writer’s Group and participated in many writing workshops throughout the years. After several years of substitute teaching, Tyna decided to meld her penchant of film with her love of writing. As an avid reader of novels, she is especially interested in adapted screenplays, such as “To Kill a Mockingbird”, “The Prince of Tides”, the “Harry Potter” series, and “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy. One of Tyna’s most-liked movies, “The Shawshank Redemption”, is adapted from a short story written by her favorite author, Stephen King. She’s patiently awaiting “The Dark Tower” series to be brought to the silver screen. Amazingly, both of Tyna’s sons share her interest in film and have chosen it as the major focus of their college studies. Her oldest son works in postproduction in LA. Family gatherings always include a few rousing discussions about current and upcoming films. She’s a member of the Gene Siskel Film Center and Cinema/Chicago. Eller has always been a avid cinema fan, she enjoys attending film screenings and reviewing films. She resides in Chicago, although her hometown of Mishawaka, Indiana will always remain in her heart. Currently pursuing per career in the entertainment field, Kay has attended numerous acting classes at the Green Room and Acting Studio in Chicago and met Sarah Adamson while they were both studying voice-over. Performing in professional theatre, commercials, numerous Independent films Kay also dabbles in modeling. Kay’s worked on film and television sets as a background actor with such stars as Robert DiNero, Ben Stiller and even worked alongside Sarah Adamson with Patrick Swayze. An avid film festival attendee, with most recently Tribecca in New York this year, Kay's continually seeking out new film venues.Filling in occasionally for Sarah on WIND Hollywood 360 Kay enjoys working with Carl Arami broadcasting 'live' from the station. A recent graduate with honors of South Western Michigan College. She's a member of Midwest Film, Mid America film and Chicago Cinema. CRIS Radio is one of her favorite places to volunteer. He also has fantastic HD video skills and has captured an interview with Sarah Adamson and Gold Medalists Evan Lysacek. The official photographer for Hollywood Palms Theater Academy Awards Event, Steve managed both video and photography for over 250 people. Professionally he’s tops in his field as he covers numerous events for press outlets in Naperville. Steve's in heaven when he's on a photo shoot and is always ready to leap into action to cover the assignment. He’s had exclusive access to musicians on stage and backstage. He’s the kind of photographer that builds relationships with his subjects. Gary Sinise loves to just hang with Steve during his annual Rockin’ with the Troops concert! He’s covered events such as: Chicago Red Carpet with Woody Harrelson, Harold Ramis, Jackie Chan, Will and his son Jaden Smith.
